An affordable new community is emerging on 1345 Turk St. Called Fillmore Park, the community is targeting working families and individuals earning between 70 and 100 percent of the medium income level of the area. The units will be priced to correspond to the Area Medium Income and household size at the time of purchase. Current price estimates range from the mid-$100,000s to the mid-$300,000s.
Each unit will feature a handsome eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a gas range and stone countertops. The bathroom will also contain the lovely stone countertops. There will be an in-unit washer and dryer, wall-to-wall carpeting, private patios for ground floor units and balconies for others. A lush landscaped courtyard with a gas grill for the residents is included.
The construction began in November 2010 and coming up in the fall, there will be a lottery for all interested buyers on October 19, 2011. The lucky winners will then select their new home . Move-in’s are slated for May 2012.
