John and Kathy Salmanowitz bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 209 Lennox Ave. in Menlo Park from Joel Broida for $2.65 million on July 29.

The 2,650-square-foot house was built in 2001 in East Menlo Park/Fenton Gables. It is located in Felton Gables subdivision.

Mr. Salmanowitz is a partner at the law firm Scott & Salmanowitz LLP and a member of the board of directors at SGS U.S. Holding Inc. Earlier in his career, he was also a partner at law firms DLA Piper, Steinhart & Falconer LLP and Marron Reid LLP.

He holds a J.D. from Stanford University, a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Ms. Salmanowitz, a member of the board of directors at New Sector Alliance, Inc., is the director emeritus at Harvard Business School Community Partners. She has been working for nonprofit organizations for over 15 years. Prior to joining nonprofit organizations, she has 14 years of experience in strategic marketing and consulting as senior consultant at SRI International.

She has an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. in economics from Wellesley College.

The Salmanowitzes were recently featured in the article Corporate lawyer listing Tiburon 4BD for $1.949M.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 462 home sales in Menlo Park during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.025 million.
