Nicholas Woodman and Jill R. Woodman bought a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 3620 Woodside Road in Woodside from Kelly Anne Skarakis for $12.5 million on Oct. 13.

The property was previously acquired for $11.5 million in Oct. 2005. The 8,000-square-foot house, which was built in 2008 is in North of Woodside Road.

Mr. Woodman is the inventor and owner at GoPro, a line of digital cameras specifically designed for rugged, wet, and harsh environments. The company sells stand-alone reinforced cameras, wrist mounted, head mounted, and HD versions.

He graduated from the University of California - San Diego

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 89 home sales in Woodside during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $2.15 million.
