Oracle Corp. engineer buys home in San Carlos for $1.2M

Mayur Vinod Joshi and Ananya Bhaduri bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 3261 Melendy Drive in San Carlos from Amr Assal and Marjorie L Kochan for $1.2 million on Dec. 13.

Assal paid $1.2 million for the property in October 2009. The 2,550-square-foot house was built in 1966 in San Carlos Hillside. It is part of the Brittan Heights subdivision.

Joshi is a principal hardware engineer at Oracle Corporation, founded in 1977 and developer and marketer of hardware systems and enterprise software products. Joshi previously worked as a staff engineer at Sun Microsystems.

Joshi attended Stanford University and the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay.

Bhaduri serves as the principal quality assurance engineer at CA Technologies, a software company founded in 1976 and headquartered in Islandia, N.Y. Prior to joining CA Technologies, Bhaduri was a quality assurance manager at Servicelink, Fidelity National Financial.

Bhaduri studied at San Jose State University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 362 home sales in San Carlos during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $858,500.
