Consulting firm owner buys Montara 3BD

Kathryn V. Slater Carter and Edward Carter bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 390 4th St. in Montara from Phillip S. Daugherty and Sally Joyce Sbisa Daugherty for $450,000 on Nov. 23.

The 1,120-square-foot house was built in 1972 in Hanemans Seaside Park subdivision.

Kathryn Carter serves as board member of Montara Water and Sanitary District. She is also the owner of Slater Associates, a management consulting firm. She formerly was a council woman at Midcoast Community Council.

She studied at UC - Davis.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 34 home sales in Montara during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $698,500.
