Micah Goldsmith and Michelle Nuyen bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 389 Ave. Granada in El Granada from Benjamin and Rachel Sleeter for $670,000 on Dec. 2.
The 2,470-square-foot house was built in 1986.
Goldsmith is a lawyer at Microsoft Corp. Earlier, he was a lawyer at the law firm of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP and a former senior patent counsel at Pioneer Electronics.
He received his B.S. from the University of Nevada and his J.D. from California Western School of Law.
Benjamin Sleeter serves as a research geographer at the U.S. Geological Survey.
He received his B.S. and his M.A. in geography from California State University at Hayward.
Rachel Sleeter also works for U.S. Geological Survey as geographic information systems specialist.
She earned her B.S. in geography from the University of Oregon and her M.A. in geography from San Jose State University. She holds a certificate in European cultural studies from the University of Aalborg in Denmark.
The Sleeters also bought a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 422 Magellan Ave. in Miramar for $1.3 million on Oct. 18, 2011.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 48 home sales in El Granada during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $585,000.
