Hotelier, wealth planning strategist sell San Mateo 4BD

John M. Hutar and Lisa A. Hutar sold a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 432 N. San Mateo Drive in San Mateo to Louise N. Cline for $699,200 on Nov. 10.

The 1,930-square-foot house was built in 1940 in San Mateo Heights. It is part of the Leadley subdivision.

John Hutar is the general manager of Sofitel San Francisco Bay. He formerly served as hotel operations vice president at MGM Grand Detroit in Michigan, as well as vice president and general manager of Hotel Nikko San Francisco.

He holds a B.S. in computer and information science from Cleveland State University.

Lisa Hutar is a senior wealth planning strategist at Wells Fargo Private Bank.

She received her J.D. from the University of Denver-Sturm College of Law and her B.S. from Southern Illinois University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,043 home sales in San Mateo during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $550,000.
