Law firm partner lists 5BD in San Mateo for $2.29M

Philip H. Albert and Mary T. Albert have listed for sale a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 511 Warren Road in San Mateo for $2.29 million.

The Alberts previously acquired the property for $2.5 million in July 2007. The 3,260-square-foot, two-story house was built in 1925 in San Mateo Park. It is part of the Warren subdivision. Jolaine and Jack Woodson of Alain Pinel Realtors are the listing agents.

Philip Albert is a partner at the law firm Kilpatrick Townsend. His practice areas include intellectual property, patent prosecution and counseling. Prior to practicing law, he worked as an electrical engineer for several years. He was founding president of Galt Engineering Inc., producer of semi-custom software and turnkey computer systems for accounting tasks and bank operations. He also worked as design engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

He obtained his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School, and his B.S. in electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,065 home sales in San Mateo during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $549,900.
