Assistant professor sells San Mateo home

Patricia L. Gordon, Lance K. Gordon and Trust Gordon sold a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 211 W. Poplar Ave. in San Mateo to Elizabeth K. Jones for $1.88 million on Jan. 4.

The Gordons paid $1.75 million for the property in May 2002. The 2,770-square-foot house was built in 1924 in San Mateo West. It is part of the San Mateo Park subdivision.

Patricia Gordon has been an assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.

She received an R.N. from DeAnza College. She also received a B.S., an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,100 home sales in San Mateo during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $551,000.
