Dolby Labs exec spends $1.7M in Burlingame

Jeffrey Fehervari and Katherine H. Fehervari bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1312 De Soto Ave. in Burlingame from Magnus Charles Nelson and Marilyn Kaye Haynie Nelson for $1.7 million on Dec. 30.

The 3,120-square-foot home in Lower Burlingame was built in 1923. It is located in the Easton subdivision.

Jeffrey Fehervari is vice president of IP protection at Dolby Laboratories, a San Francisco-headquartered company specializing in audio noise reduction and audio encoding. He joined Dolby Labs as director of patents and assistant general counsel. Prior to that, he was vice president of legal affairs and litigation at Gemstar-TV Guide International.

He attended South Pasadena High School, Yale University and University of Virginia School of Law.

Katherine Fehervari is an enterprise account executive at Iron Mountain, a provider of information management services. She previously served as an account executive at ADP, a sales representative at Ziff-Davis Publishing and an account representative at DataPro- McGraw Hill.

She attended the University of Connecticut.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 304 home sales in Burlingame during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.07 million.
