Marketing exec nets $3.4M Portola Valley 4BD

Medium 5c9d1cfb0a959aa8f27e46d1c7470766 David Pejcha and Marie Helen Pejcha bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 270 Mapache Drive in Portola Valley from Jo Vanderbeek, Robert M. Ward and Charlene Douglas Ward for $3.4 million on Jan. 31.

The 3,330-square-foot home in Westridge was built in 1966.

David Pejcha is the director of marketing at Silver Spring Networks, a Redwood City-based provider of smart grid networking technology solutions. He joined Silver Spring Networks from Motorola, where he worked on android marketing and product management. Prior to that, he was co-founder of Unedged Software. He also worked at Good Technology, Comcast Interactive Capital, Cisco Systems and Credit Suisse First Boston.

He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California-San Diego and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 60 home sales in Portola Valley during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $2.15 million.
