Irwan Tanadi bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 2120 Elderberry Lane in San Rafael from Patrick Summe and Christa Butler for $810,000 on Dec. 13.

Summe and Butler paid $1 million for the property in September 2007. The 2,045-square-foot house, built in 1958, is in the Marinwood subdivision.

Tanadi is a programmer analyst at Genentech Inc. Previously, Tanadi was a Java developer at 1800Promos.com Ltd. and a Java programmer at Executive Greetings Inc.

Tanadi attended Thunderbird School of Global Management and Universitas Trisakti.

Summe is the vice president of application architecture at Livevox, where he was previously the director of engineering. He was also a project leader at ADP Brokerage.

He attended Dartmouth College and New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 546 home sales in San Rafael during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $525,000.
