Lisa Kavanaugh and Eric Westberg sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 518 Miller Creek Road in San Rafael to Becky Ruden and Richard Turgeon for $660,000 on Nov. 23.

Kavanaugh paid $232,500 for the property in Sept. 2005. The 1,430-square-foot house was built in 1956. It is located in Marinwood subdivision.

Kavanaugh serves as the chief product and technology officer for Ask.com, a search engine founded in 1996. She is responsible in all aspects of product development, the management and strategy for the company. Previously, she worked as software engineer at Hewlett Packard.

She earned her degree in computer science from the University of California - Santa Barbara.

Ruden is the executive editor of Pearson Education, a publications media and eLearning. Prior to this, she served as a senior acquisitions editor at Flat World Knowledge, Inc.She was also the acquisitions editor, market development manager and publisher's representative at Pearson Education.

She attended the University of Iowa.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 170 home sales in San Rafael during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $550,000.
