Gerald Gowan and Deborah Miller have listed for sale a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 10 Walnut Ave. in Mill Valley for $849,000.

The Gowans previously acquired the property for $749,000 in Feb. 2010. The 1,472-square-foot house, which was built in 1913, is in South of Blithedale Ave. It is located in Sycamore Park subdivision. Jim King of Pacific Union International Inc.

Gerald Gowan is the founder and owner at Kinex Academy, an athletics and sports training, research, and development center. Previously, he was with office and printing supplies firm Mill Valley Services as a corporate account manager. He has also served the same position at documents solutions provider Kinko's and at printing services firm PIP Printing. Aside from those, he has been a creative art therapist at St Luke's Hospital and a movement psycho-education specialist and therapist at Charis Youth Services. In addition, he was a lead recreation researcher for the City of Scarborough in Ontario, Canada.

He received a bachelor's degree in psychology and physical education from York University and a movement analyst certification from London South Bank University in the United Kingdom. He also earned a master's degree in movement psychotherapy from Drexel University College of Medicine.

Gerald Gowan and Deborah Miller also sold homes 1 Coach Road for $$1.54 million in Sept. 2009 and 205 Evergreen Ave. for $810,000 in July 2003. Both properties are also in Mill Valley.
