The Guilfoyles paid $2.1375 million for the property in April 2009. The 5,566-square-foot house was built in 2002 in the Ruby Hill neighborhood. Jamie M. Pfister of Intero Real Estate Services-Almaden is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Guilfoyle is the senior vice president of platform services at PayPal Inc., an e-commerce business that offers payments and money transfer services. Before joining PayPal, he served as chief information officer at the financial services and real estate division of Interactive Corp.

He obtained his bachelor's from Wilmington College in Ohio.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 700 home sales in Pleasanton during the past 12 months with a median price of $602,500.
