Robert C. Yamashita and Carol Yamashita have listed for sale a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 2900 Derby St. in Berkeley for $1.02 million.
The 2,431-square-foot house was built in 1904 in Claremont. Ira and Carol Serkes of Pacific Union International are the listing agents of the home.
Yamashita is an assistant professor of interdisciplinary studies in science and society, liberal studies at California State University, San Marcos. Previously, he was associate research specialist at the University of California - Berkeley.
He earned his B.A. in social thought and political economy from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, his M.A. and Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California - Berkeley.
