Digg Inc. CEO settles in Mill Valley for $3.086M

Medium abc815e2b29c3a7a22a0e430a14b547d Jay Adelson and Brenda Shea bought a six-bedroom, six-bath home at 30 Kite Hill Lane in Mill Valley from Robert Alan Herbst, Sally Shekou and Joe Shekou for $3.086 million on Feb. 24.

The 4,858-square-foot house, built in 1995, is in North of Blithedale Ave.

Mr. Adelson is the chairman and CEO of Digg Inc., an internet industry. He helped kick-start the Web company in 1993 and has helped engineer Netcom, the first ISP in the United States.

Prior to Digg Inc. he was the founder and chief technology officer at Equinix Inc.

Ms. Shekou is a partner at SSL Law Firm LLP. Her practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions.

Prior to joining SSL Law Firm, she was a member of the real estate department of Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe LLP. She also worked with Latham & Watkins, where she practiced real estate, project finance, land use and environmental law.

She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and received her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law.

Mr. Shekou has been the owner of JHS Properties, a real estate firm.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 146 home sales in Mill Valley during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $900,000.
