Investment principal trades Tiburon 5BD for $1.73M

Medium 851dda5d97e6a41edae6317efc22bd5e Adam Violich and Holly Violich sold a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 2131 Paradise Drive in Tiburon to JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association for $1.73 million on Oct. 22.

The 5,183-square-foot house was built in 1951 in South of Trestle Glen Blvd.

Mr. Violich is principal, as well as security analyst and portfolio manager at Violich Capital Management, an investment advisor. Most recently, he served as managing director of the West Coast Private Equity group of SG Cowen & Co. in the San Francisco office.

Before that, he worked for E*Offering Corp., where he headed the Private Capital group, and was associate and manager in the Private Capital Group of Robertson Stephens. He also was a member of the Corporate Strategy group at Bechtel Corporation, where he earlier served as environmental engineer.

He holds an A.B. in earth sciences from Dartmouth College (1991) and obtained an M.B.A. from The Stanford Graduate School of Business (1997).

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 100 home sales in Tiburon during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1,477,500.
