Mr. Pauels has been an architectural designer at Brand + Allen Architects, Inc. Prior to that, he worked as an architectural designer at Aspen Street Architects, Inc. He also was part of Gatermann + Schossig and KSP Engel & Zimmermann.

He attended the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
